Slow down. What’s the hurry? Really. - Breathe slowly and deeply for 1-3 minutes. Notice your breath throughout the day and deepen it if it has become shallow, or you notice you’re holding your breath.
- Say to yourself: “I am safe. All is well.”
- Remember, EVERYTHING happens for a reason. There are no accidents. Ask yourself what you can learn from this situation.
- Know there is a silver lining in every dark cloud.
- Let go of trying to control everything. Let go and Let God.
- Use stop lights and waits in long lines to take a deep breath and relax your shoulders.
- Practice patience.
- Practice acceptance of all things. Judging situations as bad or wrong causes stress and suffering.
- Laugh often. Be silly sometimes. Laugh at yourself.
